James Read Sleep Mask & BB Cream Review
I'm going on my honeymoon in 2 weeks. TWO WEEKS!!! Which means it's time to step up my tanning game... faux tanning that is. Now, if you haven't already taken a second to read my comprehensive guide to getting the perfect body tan, ahem, well... do that now!
When you're done, come back and let's talk about the face. The face is a whole other ballgame - not only is it well, more important, I rely heavily on exfoliation (bedtime, lotion p50, clarisonic brush) to keep my skin looking it's best. Which means faux tanners of the normal variety don't stand a chance. But if I put too much stuff on my face with dyes and perfumes... then it's a one way ticket to breakout city!
So what's a girl to do? Thank goodness for James Read Tan. His face products are THE BEST. They feel super light, hydrating and silky. They have never turned orange, or even streaky, and the smell is pleasant but almost non-existent (just the way I like it!)
Right now, I am obsessed with the Sleep Mask (which I also put on for daytime) and the BB Gradual Tan Face, which is thicker and requires a little more care in applying, but which I can swap out for my tinted moisturizer if I feel like going for a natural face look. Both products contain hyaluronic acid which is probably the lightest, most effective moisturizer out there - so not only is my face sun-kissed but it looks plump and dewy. Plus a little goes a long way so they last forever...
But the proof is in the pudding - or in this case, FACE. Seen here wearing Perricone MD No Blush Blush, Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation Serum, and my beloved RMS LIVING LUMINIZER. No photoshop, NO EDITING.
