Yes, it's a thing and I LOVE IT.  Silky, slinky, loose. comfortable and also perfect for this Fall weather - warm when you need it, breezy and cool when temps spike.

Here's what to look for in your pajama for public.

  1. Look for piping detail or tuxedo collars. They elevate what is essentially an oversized silk shirt into the insouciance of a cool french girl.
  2. Yes, it should be oversized. If you want to nip in the waist look for waist sashes that also double as matching microscarves/chokers/bows.
  3. No prints please! Look for monochromatic black and white, gold, silver, navy or the Pantone color of the year "Rose Quartz" (aka blush, glossier pink, salmon, dusty rose, caramel...)
  4. Pajama pants should be monochrome and somewhat tailored.

The top half look awesome paired with skinny jeans or flares. The silk pants look rad with a tee (graphic or monochrom) and a leather jacket. You can also go all in on the look and pair with matching pants - there is nothing more IDGAF then leaving the house in fancy pajamas and heels. So tragically cool.
